Throughout most of their time together people have known Mark Radcliffe to be the main presenter and Marc 'Lard' Riley to be the sidekick. However Radio 5's Cult Radio reversed these roles for the first, and probably the last time.
Loosely based on the premise of doing features on cults - i.e. cult bands, people, films, places and so on (but not religious cults) the show would feature the pair setting out in Lard's Triumph Dolomite to interview related people.
Episodes included:
- Being a cult - pilot edition with Billy Duffy from The Cult, Bob Holness, Terry Pratchet and Tom Verlane out of television.
- Aliens - including a trip to Jodrell Bank
- School Visit - looking at kids hobbies
- The Prisoner - a trip to Port Merrion where it was filmed (well they got lost).
- Trip to the Image Consult
- Where Led Zeppelin played - a hardware store which used to be the Manchester Hard Rock.
- Christmas
- The Final episode - all about ends.
